Using the poem
The poem is yours to use: on a card, with an urn, in a notice, in a post or in a book. Save it as an image or copy the text.
What happens to what you type
We do not store it. The name and the things you type go to Anthropic's AI model to write the poem, and the poem is shown only on your screen. To limit the number of poems per day, a hashed form of your connection's address is kept for two days.

Questions
Is the poem generator free?
Yes. You can write three poems a day. When the day's poems for everyone are used up, the form says so; try again the next day.
Can I change the poem?
Yes. Copy the text and change any line before you use it.
Is it for a pet that is still alive?
No. It writes in the past tense, for a pet that has died.
Why did I get no poem?
The form writes a poem about an animal only. If what you typed was not about one, or the check against automated use did not pass, you get a message instead.
