A gift for a dog owner: a book about their dog

The book has 28 pages, 20 × 20 cm. The words come from your answers to seven short questions about the dog. The photos are yours or the owner's. Where photos are missing, there is a drawing of the dog, made from the cover photo.

What you need if you make it yourself
Ask the owner for photos or take them from your own phone. If you ask the owner, it is no longer a surprise. That is up to you.
- One photo of the dog for the cover. More is fine, up to fourteen.
- The dog's name.
- The things only someone who knows the dog knows: where he sleeps, what she steals, what he is afraid of.

What the owner gets
You pass on the private link. Anyone with it can change any page: the words, a photo, a drawing made again. What you did not know, the owner fills in. The hardcover is ordered from that same page, so the owner can do that later too.
If you want them to read it first without changing it, the book page makes a share link. With it, someone reads the whole book and changes nothing.
Rather have the owner make the book? Give the gift
The gift costs €36.99: the digital book and the hardcover, shipping included. You say who it is for and what you want to add. The owner gets a link, unwraps it, makes the book about their own dog and sees no price. You can print a card or have it emailed on a day you choose. Valid for a year.
Digital, or printed
The digital book is at the private link and as a PDF. The hardcover is ordered from the digital book: hard cover, 28 pages, 20 × 20 cm, shipped to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. The shipping address is entered at checkout, so the book can go straight to the owner.

Can I make a book about a dog that is not mine?
Yes. You need photos of the dog and the things only someone who knows the dog knows. Then you pass on the private link.
What if I do not know an answer?
Skip the question. The owner can change the page later or have it rewritten.
Can the owner still change the book?
Yes. Anyone with the private link can change any page.
How do I give it?
Send the private link, or order the hardcover from the digital book and enter the owner's address at checkout. If you want the owner to make the book themselves, buy the €36.99 gift on the gift page.
Is the book kept?
A year after it is ready, or a year after a hardcover order. Two emails before, and one click keeps the book another year.
